Bomb threat to MIA via email; security tightened

Mangaluru, May 04, 2024: Security at the Mangaluru International Airport has been tightened in the wake of a bomb threat to the airport. It is learnt the threat was received via email in the name of a terrorist organization.

 

The email reportedly states that explosives have been planted in the airport premises and in three aircrafts.

The email was reportedly received on April 29. A case has been registered in Bajpe police station.
