Bishop inaugurates 35th Annual Conference of the Canon Law Society of India

Mangaluru, Oct 03, 2022: The 35th Annual Conference of the Canon Law Society of India (CLSI) was inaugurated by the Rt. Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore, on October 3rd, 2022, at the Pastoral Institute, Bajjodi, Mangalore-575 005. The Bishop explained the objectives of this year’s annual conference, in which 121 delegates are participating.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

His Eminence Oswald Cardinal Gracias will attend the event on October 7th and speak on synodality in the church and reforms.

The local president of the Canon Law Society of India, Rev Dr John Mendonca, and the programme coordinator and judicial vicar of the Mangalore Diocese, Very Rev Fr Walter D’Mello, were present on the occasion.
