Bharath Cinemas Wins Regional Emerging Cinema Chain of the Year Award

Mangaluru, Aug. 23, 2026: Bharath Cinemas has been honoured with the “Regional Emerging Cinema Chain of the Year” award at the IMAX Big Cine Awards held during the Big Cine Expo in Chennai on August 18.

Bharath Cinemas director Bala Shetty received the award on behalf of the organisation.

The award recognises the cinema chain’s efforts to bring modern technology, quality entertainment and premium cinema experiences to audiences in Karnataka, particularly in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.

Bharath Cinemas has been expanding its presence across the region with advanced projection and sound systems, comfortable seating and modern ambience, while focusing on affordability and customer experience.
