Bhajrangdal warns against Valentine’s Day celebrations

Mangalore, Feb 13, 2013:The Bhajrangdal, as usual has said that it was strongly against celebrating Valentine’s Day on February 14.

In a communiqué, the Hindu outfit alleged that immoral activities are resorted to in the name of Valentine’s Day and added this was against the cultural values and tradition of a nation like India.

The Bhajrangdal has also pressurized the district administration against allowing Valentine’s day celebrations in pubs or holding of DJ parties etc. 

 

It further  demanded action against anyone indulging in indecent behaviour in public places and parks and has warned that the administration itself will be responsible in the event of any untoward incident that may take place in the event of the demand going heeded.
