
Mangalore, Feb 2, 2012: The department of post graduate studies in commerce of Besant Women’s College organized Innovision 2012, a national-level post graduate festival in its auditorium on Feb 2 Thursday.
K. Subba Naik, the senior manager of Canara Bank, inaugurated the event and said that the event is not just a festival, but also a talent hunt. Stating that festivals such as these are opportunities for students to showcase their talents, he urged students to aim at the best. In a society that is changing quickly, the skills learned through these events will be very helpful, he added.






Lauding Besant Women’s College for its achievements, he said that his bank will be happy to support such festivals organized by the college.
Principal Manjula K. T. delivered the welcome address. Archana K., the student coordinator, spoke about the festival. Megha Kamath was the MC.
Among the dignitaries on the dais were Kudpi Jagadish Shenoy, the president of the Women’s National Education Society; Dr. Carmelita Goveas, the staff coordinator of the event; and Dr. Balaji Bhovi.
