Speaking to the media, the MLA said he had not betrayed the BJP and remained a loyal and honest party worker. He categorically denied engaging in cross-voting during the Legislative Council elections, stating that he had voted for the candidate directed by the party leadership.

"I solemnly swear in the presence of Lord Manjunatha that I did not indulge in cross-voting. Lord Manjunatha and the people of my constituency are witnesses to the truth. The BJP is like a mother to me. Some people are making false allegations against me because they cannot tolerate my political growth," he said.

Before visiting the temple, Suresh offered special prayers at Annappa Betta, where he broke a coconut and prayed, saying, "I have not committed any wrongdoing. May those spreading false propaganda be blessed with good sense."

Following the temple visit, the MLA also met Dharmadhikari Dr. Veerendra Heggade at the Dharmasthala temple.
