Belthangady: Young teacher found dead in well; police probe underway

Belthangady, Oct 23, 2025: The body of Tejaswini (23), a resident of Boodumugeru in Arasinamakki and a teacher at Arasinamakki Gopalakrishna Aided School, was found in a well near her house on Thursday, October 23.

Tejaswini had been working as a guest teacher at the school for the past two years.

It is reported that she had been suffering from depression. Police are investigating whether she accidentally slipped and fell into the well or took her own life.

Dharmasthala police visited the spot and conducted an inspection. She is survived by her parents, sister, and relatives.
