Belthangady: Three arrested for cattle smuggling

Belthangady, Aug 18, 2022: Belthangady police have arrested three persons on the charges of illegal cattle trafficking in a Qualis vehicle at a place called Antrayapalke here on August 18, Thursday morning. The cattle  were found crammed in the vehicle in an inhuman way.

 

Those arrested are Nagesh Shetty, Razak P and Muhammad Rafique. The car driver Ravoof managed to escape. Two cows and two vehicles belonging to the accused have been seized. Police said the accused were transporting the cattle to a slaughter house.
