Belthangady, December 16, 2025: Seven passengers sustained minor injuries when a KSRTC bus and a private mini bus collided head-on near Nidle in BelthangadySeven passengers sustained minor injuries when a KSRTC bus and a private mini bus collided head-on near Nidle in Belthangady taluk on Monday morning.

The collision took place close to Kuduraya Talekki Cross along the Dharmasthala–Periyashanthi highway. The private mini bus was carrying devotees of Ayyappa.


Bus accident


Reports indicate that the KSRTC bus was traveling from Bengaluru to Dharmasthala, while the private bus was en route from Dharmasthala to Subrahmanya.

Following the accident, it is alleged that the KSRTC bus driver and conductor fled the scene. Authorities have registered a case at the Belthangady traffic police station.
