Belthangady: Painter dies after falling from 18 feet during work

Belthangady, Nov 18, 2025: A painter who had suffered severe injuries after falling from a height of about 18 feet died on Monday despite receiving treatment.

The deceased has been identified as Pramod Gowda (37), a resident of Renjala, Ujire.

About a month ago, he had fallen while doing painting work and sustained a serious spinal fracture. He was admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru, where he had been undergoing treatment. However, he did not recover and succumbed to his injuries.

He is survived by his wife and daughter.
