Belthangady Native Akanksha Dies Under Mysterious Circumstances in Punjab

Belthangady, May 18, 2025: Akanksha (22), daughter of Surendra and Sindhudevi from Boliyar in Dharmasthala village, tragically lost her life under mysterious circumstances in Punjab on May 17.

Preliminary reports suggest that Akanksha fell from the third floor of a building and succumbed to her injuries.

An aerospace engineer, Akanksha had completed her higher education at LPU Phagwara College in Punjab and had been working in Delhi for the past six months. She was set to move to Japan for a new job and had traveled to her alma mater to collect her certificates. It is reported that she spoke to her family shortly after collecting the certificates, but she was later found dead under unclear circumstances.

A case has been registered at the Jalandhar Police Station, and an investigation is underway.

Her family has traveled to Punjab to gather more information. Further details are expected to come to light as the investigation progresses.
