Belthangady : Man electrocuted while erecting welcome arch for temple fair

Belthangady, April 10, 2021:     A  38 year old man  lost his life  due to electrocution while   erecting a welcome  arch in connection with the  Brahmakalashotsava of a local temple at Neriya Bayalu on Friday night.

 

The deceased is Umesh (38), a resident of Neriya village. A group of youth was busy erecting a welcome arch when   Umesh was electrocuted after coming into contact with a  live high-tension wire . The work was underway in connection with the Ashta Bandha Brahmakalashotsava of Kataje Shree Durgaparameshwari Temple.

A case has been registered in Dharmasthala police station.
