Belthangady: Crocodile spotted in rubber plantation

Belthangady, Dec 5, 2021: An eight to nine feet long crocodile was spotted at a rubber plantation at Kunduru near Kanarpa in Kadirudyavara village of Belthangady taluk.

The crocodile was noticed by local resident Santosh while doing cleaning work in the plantation on December 5, Sunday morning. The plantation  belongs to Sadashiva and the crocodile was seen near a drain.

Later forest department officials captured the crocodile and taken to release it into the reserve forest.
