Belthangady: Cows, calves injured in cattle shed fire

Belthangady, Oct 03, 2022: A cattle shed was gutted in a fire that injured cows and calves at Pilathadka in Belthangady taluk on October 2. There were in all  five cows and five calves in the shed owned by Poovappa Poojary and his son Suresh who are dairy farmers. On Sunday, they had been to fetch fodder when the fire mishap took place.

 

Neighbours who saw the fire informed the owners who rushed to the spot and ensured the cows were out of the shed. The injured cows were later provided treatment.
