Belthangady : Cops conduct simultaneous raids on over 20 lodges in Ujire vicinity

Belthangady, Feb 07, 2023: Special police teams led by Bantwal Sub-Division DySP Pratap Singh Thorat simultaneously raided  over 20 lodges in Ujire and surrounding areas on February 6, Monday night following information that unlawful and immoral activities were underway there. The operation was conducted under the guidance of District Superintendent of Police Amathe Vikram.

 

The police teams inspected the registers of the lodges and other details. The police have asked the lodge managements to get the full details of the tourists before providing them rooms and thus ensure there is no scope for unlawful or immoral activities.
