Belthangady: Body of missing youth found in river at Belalu village

Belthangady, December 30, 2025: The deceased has been identified as Rajesh P. (30), a resident of Purusharabetu, Belalu. His body was found in the Netravathi River at Balipe in Belalu village on December 30.

Rajesh P. had left his house on the morning of December 27 and did not return, after which he was reported missing. Family members and local residents searched for him, but he could not be found.

Later, the Dharmasthala police were informed, and an intensive search was launched. During the search, his body was found this morning in the Netravathi River at Balipe.

Dharmasthala police reached the spot and conducted an inspection.
