Beltangady: Newly married woman dies under mysterious circumstances

Beltangady, July 30, 2025: A 26-year-old woman, Vaanishree, died under mysterious circumstances in Marodi village on Monday, July 28.

Vaanishree, a resident of Pachchadi, Mookambika Nilaya, had been married for about a year and was reportedly well-adjusted with her family.

On Monday, she complained of severe abdominal pain and went to a nearby relative’s house. Sensing something unusual, her aunt informed her husband, Prashanth. With the help of neighbours, she was rushed to a hospital, but she did not respond to treatment and passed away.

She is survived by her husband, parents Raju and Prema, and other relatives.

Venur police have visited the spot and registered a case.
