Beltangady: A display of exemplary honesty by auto driver

Beltangady, Oct 21, 2013 : In a display of exemplary honesty in this age of greed and selfishness, an autorickshaw driver of Guruvayanakere has  returned gold jewellery  which one of his passengers had left behind  in his vehicle.

 

 A family from Shantigudde   including Ismail, his wife and a few others had boarded Anand’s autorickshaw to travel to Majal from Guruvayanakere and had inadvertently left behind a bag containing jewels weighing 3.5 sovereigns. The family which later realized that the bag was missing, came in search for it to Guruvayanakere auto stand and located Anand.

An unaware Anand immediately searched his auto, found the bag safe in the seat and handed it over to its rightful owner.
