Beltangady: 16-year-old boy dies of heart attack while playing near home

Beltangady, May 5, 2025: In a heartbreaking incident, a 16-year-old student who had recently completed 9th standard and was preparing to enter 10th standard, passed away after suffering a heart attack while playing near his home in Jodusthana, Dharmasthala, on May 4.

The boy has been identified as Pratham, son of Govinda Gowda, an employee at a private firm in Dharmasthala.

According to reports, Pratham experienced chest pain while playing in the afternoon. He was immediately taken to a private hospital in Ujire, but despite medical efforts, he could not be saved.

Dharmasthala police have registered a case in connection with the incident.
