Bearys Cultural Forum distributes scholarships worth Rs 25 lakhs

Mangalore, Aug 26, 2013 :   Scholarships worth Rs 25 lakhs were distributed among 650 students on behalf of the UAE based Bearys Cultural Forum (BCF)  at a function held at Yenepoya University auditorium at Derlakatte  on August 25, Sunday.

Dr B K Yusuf, President of  the Forum   said students should be able to decide about their career  at an early stage in life and that they  should have a clear cut goal.

Hassan Darvish, Chairman of Darvish Group,  Syed Mohammed Beary, Chairman, Bearys Group,  B M Farookh, President, Bearys Welfare Association, Bangalore, B A Moideen, former minister, Dr P Chandramohan, Honorary Vice-Chancellor, Yenepoya University and Moidin Bava, MLA were present as chief guests.

Sheikhuna Al Haj P M Ibrahim Musliyar Bekal, Qazi, B M Mumtaz Ali, patron, BCF, Aboosali, M B Akbar, Amiruddin S I,  Haris Mohammed, B A Abdul Naseer  and others were present.

A Career Guidance Seminar was also held prior to the function. Dr  Kaup Mohamed, General Secretary of BCF  was the resource person. The seminar was followed by an interactive session with the participants.
