Bantwal man found murdered in Moodigere

Bantwal, June 10, 2023: A man from Bantwal was brutally murdered and the body burnt with petrol at Moodigere.

The deceased is Sawad, son of Abbas of Ira village. Police suspect ganja mafia behind the incident.

 

It has been gathered that the accused had dumped Sawad’s body in a hilly area at Banakkal of Moodigere.

It is learnt, Sawad was into drugs peddling as a result of which his family had kept him at bay. Sources said he had close links with ganja peddlers and that he might have been murdered over some financial dispute.
