Bantwal: Several injured in bee attack

Bantwal, Feb 27, 2022: As many as nine people sustained injuries after a swarm of honey bees attacked them at Kalabagilur of the Bantwal taluk.

The incident took place when the people were headed for Sri Dharmasthala Rural Development Scheme meeting.

The honey bees got wild when an eagle crashed their comb and all of a sudden attacked those walking on the road at Kalabagilu.

The injured are Gangaiah Gowda (60), Sheena Shetty (48), Aithappa Shetty (76), Arun Shetty (34), Lalitha (49) and four others have been admitted to the government hospital for treatment.
