Bantwal: Father killed, son critical in scooter- lorry collision

Bantwal, May 23, 2024: A two-wheeler rider lost his life while his son sustained serious injuries after their vehicle was hit by a huge lorry containing borewell drilling machine at Allipade on Wednesday night.

 

The deceased is Jaya Poojary (55). His son Rakshith who is seriously injured has been rushed to a private hospital in Mangaluru.

Rash and negligent driving by the lorry driver is said to be the cause of the accident.
