Bantwal: Bike rider dies in accident involving publicity vehicle of Bantwal MLA

Bantwal, Jan 16, 2023: A bike rider lost his life in a collision between his two-wheeler and  Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik’s Gram Vikas Padayatra publicity vehicle  at Narahari near Melkar on January 16, Monday  morning.

The deceased is Vijith (35) of Guruvayanakere. The mishap occurred while negotiating a curve. The MLA’s publicity vehicle was a jeep of Telangana registration.

The critically injured bike rider though was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Mangaluru, his life could not be saved.
