Bantwal : Bid to assault ASHA worker for objecting to violation of social distancing

Bantwal, May 11, 2020:   An attempt was made to attack an  ASHA worker with a broom for objecting to the   presence of a number of people in front of  a house at  Kukkilpady was reported on May 11, Monday, in total violation of social distancing norms.

 

It is learnt, a woman named Shreemathi, wife of  Vishwanath was the one who tried to attack the ASHA worker named Pushpalatha. When Kukkikpady GP member Yogish Acharya arrived at the spot  at the behest of  the ASHA worker, an  attempt to attack him also  reportedly took place.
