Bantwal : 9 injured as autorickshaw lands in ditch

Mangalore, Aug 10, 2013 :    Nine persons including three children, all belonging to the same family sustained injuries when the  autorickshaw in wthey were travelling fell into a roadside ditch near SVS College, Bantwal on August 9, Friday.

 Reckless driving by the autorickshaw driver is blamed for  the accident.  All the nine were  heading towards the house of a relative on the occasion on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

 

The injured  namely Ismail, the autorickshaw driver,  Khateejamma, Idinabba, Yasir, Naseem, Shamsuddin and children Shaheed, Nusrat and Aneesha have been hospitalized. Of the injured, the condition of the autorickshaw driver and Khateejamma, an elderly lady is said to be critical.
