Bajrangdal activist assaulted at Kumpala

Mangaluru, June 6, 2024: A Bajrangdal activist was assaulted at Kumpala Kesarinagara on Wednesday evening. The injured person Praveen Poojary alias Pitty (39) has been hospitalized.

It has been alleged that he was attacked by Gowtham of Kesari Mitra Vrinda. It is learnt, an altercation broke out between Mitra Vrinda and Bajrangdal activists over lighting fire crackers soon after the announcement of Lok Sabha election results.

It is learnt, the accused is a Congress worker. Ullal Police are investigating the case.
