Bajrang Dal activists rescue illegally transported cattle

Mangalore, April 5, 2012 : A vehicle transporting cattle was stopped at Ladyhill Circle at around 4:30 a.m. on April 5 Thursday, by Banjrang Dal activists. The cattle were being moved to Kudroli.

 

 

 

 

Reportedly, five armed men were transporting the cattle, but when they saw the large group, they ran away leaving behind the Bolero pick up and the cattle.

The Bajrang Dal activists handed over the vehicle as well as the cattle to the Barke Police Station. There were 10 cows, 5 calves, and 2 buffaloes.

According to the Bajrang Dal, they had received a tip that the cattle were being transported illegally.

The Barke police have registered a case.
