Back to School : Kids head towards schools as academic year commences

Mangaluru, May 16, 2022: Schools have reopened in Dakshina Kannada district on May 16, Monday as elsewhere in the state for the academic year 2022-23.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A festive atmosphere prevailed in most schools with special events organised to welcome the students.

In Government schools a special event called Malebillu has been organised. This event is to be held for 14 days.

On the first day, today  students were accorded a warm welcome. In some schools, balloons were gifted to students. Procession was also taken out by students of some schools.

Most schools were seen decorated to welcome the students.
