BJP’s Jansangharsh campaign to last till June 22 – Kottary

Mangalore, June 17, 2012: K. Padmanabha Kottary, president of the district BJP, told reporters at a press meet held on June 16, Saturday that the BJP launched its Jansangharsh campaign against the union government’s wrong and irresponsible financial and political decisions on June 7. The campaign will come to an end on June 22, he added. 

Further, he said that BJP activists will stage protests on June 22 in all its taluk centres by blocking roads. The party will also organize an awareness campaign from June 23 to July 6 on the importance of saving the state of Jammu and Kashmir. 

Speaking about the BJP’s success in the legislative council polls, he said that Captain Ganesh Karnik and Shankaramurthy have won once again. On behalf of the party, he congratulated the chief minister for taking all the right decisions regarding government land grabbed by unauthorized persons. He said that this land will now be distributed among eligible candidates.
