Mangalore, Sep 16: The BJP has flayed the central government for its decision to raise petrol prices by Rs. 3.14 per litre from Friday.

Criticizing the central government’s inability to control inflation, he said that the government has hiked the prices of LPG, petrol, and other essentials around 8 times in just a matter of a few months.

He said that the country has been increasing fuel prices to ease its fiscal burden, but is heavily burdening the rural people and the poor in the process, which is sure to reduce the popularity of the Congress party.

He even criticized the central government for its failure to control terror attacks within the country.

Sulochana Bhat and Monappa Bhandary, the former president, were also present.
