BJP, Sangh Parivar pursuing double standards, alleges Mithun Rai

Mangaluru, Nov 24, 2015:  DK District Youth Congress President Mithun Rai has accused the BJP and the members of the Sangh Parivar of pursuing double standards.Speaking to the media men at the District Congress Office on November 24, Tuesday,  Mithun  questioned  why the Sangh Parivar leaders who had raised a hue and cry over the Prashanth murder case were silent regarding the Harish Poojary murder case.

In case of Prashanth murder, the Parivar set a deadline for the arrest of the culprits, while in case of Harish murder, the Sangh was silent, he  said. He also questioned the Sangh Parivar if Harish Poojary was not a Hindu like Prashanth. " The Sangh Parivar had demanded Rs 10 lakh compensation for the family of Prashanth just becuase he was a Parivar activist, he alleged.

Mithun said the Congress has provided  a compensation of Rs 5 lakh to the family of Harish and has even promised further help. Even the Youth  Congress has provided Rs 50,000 on its part, he said.

He appealed to people of the district not to give room for hate speeches which disrupt peace in the society. " Some people who are  misleading youngster through hate speeches should be barred from giving speeches," he demanded.
