Ayodhya issue must be settled through talks by Hindu, Muslim leaders : Pejawar seer

Udupi, April 27, 2014 :  Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt has  said that there can be communal harmony only when each and every individual in the society  prefers peaceful co-existence and  enjoys a good relationship with members of all other communities.

He was addressing a Sarva Dharma Sauharda Sammelan held  at Parkala on April 26, Saturday under the aegis of Mohiddin Jumma Masjid and Ansarul Masakeen Youth Association, Athradi.

The seer further stressed the need for each and every individual to have faith in the Almighty.  He also referred to the Ayodhya issue and said  the matter has to be settled through talks by leaders of both the communities without any political interference.

The function was presided over by Alhaj V K Abubakkar Musliyar, Athradi Qazi.

Pramod Madhwaraj, MLA of Udupi, Fr William Martis, Director of inter-religious dialogue committee, Haji K Abubakkar, Abdul Samad, President of Ansarul Masakeen Youth Association, Athradi, Dr L Ramachandra, Surgeon, KMC Manipal, Dr Mehmood Rafiq of Thonse health centre and several others were present on the occasion.
