Audio release of Tulu film ‘Nirel’ to be held in city on Oct 14

Mangalore, Oct 12, 2013: The audio release of ‘Nirel’, the first international Tulu movie will be held at Lalbagh, opposite Saibeen Complex on October 14, Monday 8.30 pm.

Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on October 12, Saturday, producer of the movie Shodhan Prasad said that the film shot in UAE will be released first in Gulf by the end of November  and in January it will be released in Mangalore, Mumbai and Bangalore.

Director Ranjith Bajpe said that the film is based on a love story with comedy and action. The star cast in the film has been selected through the audition kept for the Mangaloreans working in abroad. The story of ‘Nirel’ was scripted by Karthik Gowda, Bangalorean software employee.

He also said that the film shooting was started a year back and is in an editing stage. It was only shot on Fridays. The film was produced at the budget of Rs 1.5 crore and will run for the duration of 2 hours 15 minutes.

The star cast of the film is Anoop Sagar, Varuna Shetty and Deepthi playing a lead role. While Sachin Padil, Deepak Paladka, Subhash, Anand Salian, Jameel Ahmed, Clody, Rajendra Pai, Santhosh Poojary, Shashi Shetty, Nithyanand, Sandhya Prasad, Veera, Vishwapathi Bhat, Dony, Nindiya, Ashok Paalan, Vidya are other actors in the movie.

The movie comprises six songs sung by debut singers Akshata Rao, Pramod Kumar, Shiv Kumar, Harish Sherigar and Shilpa Madhusudan. 

San Poojary has worked as the co-producer of the film, while Rajneesh Amin as art director, Sachin Padil as assistant director, Ashwath Samuel as editor. 

Sandalwood actor Ramesh Arvind will play the guest appearance in the film.
