Mangalore, May 9: The audio CD of the Tulu film Oriyardori Asal, which was produced under the banner of Roopalaxmi, was released at City Centre on May 9, Monday in a very unique manner.
Magician Kudroli Ganesh collected petals of flowers from the dignitaries on the dais and requested the actor and actress who played the lead roles in the film to release the audio CD.
Vijaya Kumar Kodialbail, the writer of the script, dialogues, and lyrics of the film, said that the play Oriardori Asal totally revolutionized Tulu theatre owing to its non stop comedy. He urged all Tulu speakers to support the movie, which goes under the same name and informed that he intends to produce and direct 4 – 5 Tulu films this year.
Producer Roopa Vijayakumar, music director A. K. Vijaya Kokila, actor Likhith Shetty, actress Ramya Barna, Kumbra Raghunath Shetty, Sandeep Shetty Maravoor, Akash, Swathi, Adwaith, Kumar Bangera, Sanjay Prabhu, Suresh Anchan, Chethan Rai, Santhosh, Lokendra Kumar, Raymond D’Souza, and many others were also present. Arpith and Madhu Mailankody were the MCs of the programme.
The first CD of the film was auctioned off with the rate commencing at Rs. 50. Malady Balakrishna Shetty purchased it for Rs. 18,000.
