Astro Mohan wins 3 prizes in International Photo Contest

Udupi, July 27, 2013:  Well-known photojournalist Astro Mohan  has won three prizes in the photography contest conducted by the India International Photography Council on the occasion of World Photography Day.

His photo ‘Udupi’ won the second place in the travel category while ‘Kitchen’ bagged the third prize in Monochrome Section.  The ‘Bike-Stunt’ picture secured a certificate merit in Photo Journalism category.

Astro Mohan who works for Udayavani daily will receive the award  at a ceremony to be held at Vijayavada in Andhra Pradesh on August 19.

 

 

 

Astro Mohan hails  from Bellary and is a multi-faceted personality. He is  also a magician, orator and an art critic. He has won several awards so far. His ‘Karavali Kambala’ also bagged the top honours at the International photo contest conducted by Nikon in  United Kingdom
