Assault by son: Mother suffers thigh bone fracture

Mangaluru, Feb 17, 2023: A woman who resides at the Felix Compound at Bolar Bathery Garden suffered a thigh bone fracture after she was allegedly brutally assaulted by her son late night on February 15, Wednesday.

 

The victim Shantha Rai has been hospitalised. She has filed a case against her son Rohit at South Police Station.

Shantha lives with her brother-in-law Naveen Rai and mother-in-law Shambhavi Shetty at the Felix Compound House. On Wednesday at around 1.30 am Rohit  tried to attack Shambhavi, threatened and assaulted Naveen with an iron object and then assaulted his mother and stamped her thigh before rushing out.

It is learnt Rohit attacked his family members who had advised him to mend ways.
