Assailants stab youth near Panemangalore

Bantwal, May 17, 2025: A man was brutally stabbed by a gang of assailants at Akkarangady  near Panemangalore on Friday night.

The injured youth is Hameed alias Ammi, a local resident who is a painter by profession.

Hameed was standing on the roadside when a group of four men who arrived by bike attacked him.

Bantwal police are investigating the case.

The incident of stabbing has caused much concern particularly in the wake of the recent tensions that prevailed in the aftermath of Suhas Shetty murder case.

The reason for the attack on Hameed is not yet clear. It is learnt he is out of danger and is undergoing treatment.
