Anti-Sonia Gandhi remarks: DKDCC stages protest against RSS

Mangalore, November 16: The members of Dakshina Kannada District Congress Committee staged protest and lashed out at former RSS chief KS Sudarshan for his derogatory remarks against AICC president Sonia Gandhi. The congress activists raised slogans condemning the RSS and Sudarshan.

 

 

 

The protest was held in front of the deputy commissioners office on Tuesday, November 16. The protesters shouted slogans against Sudarshan for dubbing Sonia an agent of the CIA and accusing her of plotting the assassination of her family members.

Addressing the protesters, MLA B Ramanatha Rai said that RSS was engaged in breaking up the country, the BJP was instigating the same. RSS did not have the moral right to criticise UPA chairperson, Sonia, "who has made huge sacrifices." He further said that the activists of RSS are not working for the development of the country as well as hindus.


Speaking on the occasion, MLA, U T Khader recalled that Father of Nation Mahathma Gandhiji’s assasin Nathuram Godse was a RSS activist. He blamed the RSS for hatching conspiracy to kill Mahathma Gandhiji.


P V Mohan, AICC member, Vinay Kumar Sorake, former MP Badruddin, KPCC secretary, M G Hegde, Congress spokesperson Harikrishna Bantwal,  DKDCC vice-president Ivan D’souza, Bondala Jagannath Shetty, Mamatha Gatti, Suresh Ballal, T K Sudhir and Shashidar Hegde were present in the protest.
