Annual Police Sports Meet inaugurated in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Jan 06, 2022: The Annual  Police Sports Meet was inaugurated by DK District Principal and Sessions Judge Muralidhar Pai at the Police Parade Grounds in the city on January 6, Thursday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Speaking on the occasion, he said sports meets play a key role in helping the Department in identifying talents and  encouraging them to shine in national and international events.

Mahabaleshwara M S, Managing Director and CEO of Karnataka Bank was present as a chief guest.

Deepa Vasudeva Bhat who won six gold medals in Asian Power Lifting Championship was  felicitated on the occasion.

The cooling glasses provided by Arthur D’Souza couple  to the Traffic Police, were distributed on the occasion.

The renovated police canteen, with aid from Karnataka Bank, was inaugurated on the occasion.

City Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar, DCPs Hariram Shanker, Dinesh Kumar B P, Channaveerappa Hadapad and others were present.
