Anantha Chaturthi Vritha observed at Sri Venkatramana Temple, Carstreet

Mangalore, Sep 19, 2013 : Anantha Chaturthi Vritha was observed at the Sri Venkatramana Temple at Carstreet in Mangalore on September 18, Wednesday. Hundreds of devotees  flocked the temple since early morning to  participate in the rituals.

Anantha Chaturthi Vritha is one of the  five  special days(Parvas) observed at the Temple. Various special rituals and poojas were offered  to Lord Anantha   on  this day. There was mass feeding (Samaradhane) after the pooja in the afternoon.

Bhajan Sankeerthans were also held  by Bhajana Mandalis.
