Mangalore, Sept 22, 2013: The 31st programme of the Amala Bharatha Cleanliness Drive initiated by Sri Matha Amritanandamayi was held at the Lady Goschen Hospital premises on September 22, Sunday. Dr Jeevaraj Sorake, Managing Director of SCS Hospital and President of the All India Amala Bharatha Campaign inaugurated the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, he said students play a very important role in the success of such programmes.
Dr Geetanjali, Resident Medical Officer of Lady Goschen Hospital, Sumithra, Chief of the Nursing Department Geetha Balachander, Yogish Salian, Wing Commander Devaraj Belle and others were present.
Office bearers of Matha Amritanandamayi Seva Samithi, students of Mangalore University College, SDM College, Youth Red Cross Unit and followers of Amma took part in the drive.
