A. M. Narahari, the registrar of St. Aloysius College, said that the college doesn’t mind its girl students wearing burqa on the campus and corridors, but they are expected to remove it in classrooms and in exam halls as the lecturers find it difficult to relate to burqa-clad girls in classrooms. Moreover, students have to mandatorily show their faces in exam halls, he added.
