All ICU beds full, Covid crisis may go out of hands, Udupi DC voices concern

Udupi, May 04, 2021:      Udupi  Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesha has hinted  at the grim Covid situation in the district when he said all the ICU beds in the district are presently occupied.

 

In an appeal to the public, the DC said the Covid situation would soon go out of hand if people fail to strictly adhere to  guidelines.

The Deputy Commissioner  regretted that people are still not taking Covid-19 seriously and pointed out how several were getting  admitted to ICU after remaining at home for nearly 15 days despite having Covid symptoms.

"Anyone having Covid symptoms must isolate and get tested," he said and urged public to extend co-operation to the district administration in controlling the pandemic.
