All College Students Assn warns stir seeking justice in Sowjanya, Deepika cases

Mangalore, Jan 15, 2013: The  All College Students’ Association, Mangalore has expressed its displeasure over the failure of the police department in apprehending the culprits in the Sowjanya and Deepika murder cases.

Speaking to reporters in Mangalore, Uttam Alva, President of the Association has said that the Association was not happy with the progress of the investigation by the CID which has so far not been able to make any arrest with regard to the two murder cases. It may be mentioned here that one Santosh Rao was arrested in connection with the Sowjanya case even before the case was handed over to the CID.

He further informed that the Association under the guidance of Esha Vittaldas Swamiji of Kemar Mutt would intensify protests demanding justice in the two cases

On this occasion, Alva informed that Kala Sangama 2013, an inter-collegiate variety entertainment contest would be held on January 16 under the aegis of the Association.
