Mangalore, April 24: The residents of Alake Chitra Circle organized a protest on April 24, Saturday against the inefficient transportation of fish in lorries. They alleged that the lorries leak the fishy water on the roads

Deputy Mayor Rajendra spoke on behalf of the residents and said that the leakage of fishy water on the roads leads to skidding of two-wheelers as well as inconvenience of pedestrians. He urged the authorities concerned to provide high-quality containers so that fish can be transported with minimum inconvenience to the people.  


The protestors held up 3 lorries carrying fish. Janardhan Kuduva, Devananda Pai, and others participated in this protest.
