Ajith Kumar Malady elected as Bunts alias Nadavara Mathr Sangha president

Mangalore, Nov 13, 2013: Ajith Kumar Malady is elected as the president of Bunts alias Nadavara Mathr Sangha, defeating his opponent A Sadananda Shetty by margin of 1,149 votes.

The polling was held on November 10, Sunday in nine taluk centres of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi districts and Kasargod and the counting began on Nov 13, Wednesday at Ramakishna School and results were out at 6 pm.

 

Malady gained 4,363 votes, while Shetty got 3,214 votes. Other 20 office bearers were also elected. Malady’s group won in all the places.

The winners including Ajith Kumar Malady were taken out for procession in the open jeep around the Bunts Hostel circle.
