
Mangaluru, Dec 14, 2025: Air India Express will restore direct air connectivity between Mangaluru and Muscat from March 2026, operating two flights per week.
The IXE–MCT–IXE service (IX 817/818) will operate every Sunday and Tuesday. The first flight from Mangaluru to Muscat (IX 817) is scheduled to operate on March 1, 2026, with the return flight (IX 818) operating on the same day. The second service will operate on March 3, followed by flights on March 8 and 10, March 15 and 17, and March 22 and 24, respectively.

The summer schedule for 2026 will commence on March 29, following which the timings and schedules of flights from Mangaluru are expected to change.
Air India Express had last operated flights on the Mangaluru–Muscat sector on July 14, 2025, during the summer schedule of 2025. Prior to the suspension of services, the airline was operating four flights per week on the route.
