After resignation drama, Kota SI Kabbalraj to report to duty today

Udupi, Sep 23, 2016 :  Kota sub-inspector Kabbalraj  who had reportedly gone missing  after tendering his resignation on September 22, Thursday  is expected to report to duty today (Friday). Senior officials had earlier succeeded in convincing him to withdraw his resignation.

Earlier, Kabbalraj had decided to resign all of a sudden  after Udupi SP  K T Balakrishna reportedly took him to task  over a case pertaining to a land dispute at Airody.

He could not be contacted  even after the police who gathered information that he had reached his house visited there. Kabbalraj’s wife works a a teacher at a  school in Sarapady. Finally the higher officials managed to contact him over  phone.

The SP said the officer had resigned owing to some personal pressures and added that he asked Kabbal to take a couple of days leave. However, Kabbalraj had assured the SP that he would report  to duty on Friday.
