Adichunchagiri seer visits Sowjanya residence; assures full support of Vokkaligas

Belthangady, Nov 2, 2013 : Sri Dharmapalanatha Swamiji of Mangalore Branch of the Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthanam, has said  that the government should immediately entrust the Sowjanya case to the CBI lest a severe agitation would be launched.

 

He was speaking after visiting the residence of Sowjanya at Pangala near Dharmasthala on November 1, Friday. Stating that the Gowda community was completely behind the family in its fight for justice, he said it was evident at the outset that the investigation into the case was not proper.

The seer also spoke to the parents of Sowjanya Kusumavathi and Chandappa Gowda and her grandfather Babu Gowda.

The Seer said a  meeting of leaders of the community has been held to discuss the issue. He said Vokkaligas will not sit with their hands tied down and  added the entire community was in support of the family.

 Nityananda Mundodi,  Sanjeeva Muttandoor, Dhananjaya Adpangaya, leaders of Gowdara alias Vokkaligara  Sangha  and others were present on the occasion.
